Matthew Zielstra, age 34, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 14, 2017.
Matthew was a 2000 graduate of Conway High School (Conway, AR), he worked for numerous places in Arkansas and also in Dubuque, IA. Matthew loved animals, adopted rescue dogs in need, and he strived to help numerous people who were struggling with addictions and homelessness. Matthew possessed a most remarkable trait: his loyalty to his friends and those in need. It was undeniable. For Matthew, a friend was a friend for life. He accepted as friends those who most needed a friend the most, without pause. Matthew unconditionally gave his friends his most prized asset. His loyalty, trust and 'brighten your life in a second smile'. Matthew always had room in his heart for 1 more. His larger than life heart was full of pride in his family which he spoke of often. Matthew's gift was friendship, understanding and listening to the hopes, dreams and fears of anyone. His loss is hard to come to terms with for anyone who knew him.

I am so sorry to hear of Matt's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Reading Rev. 21:3, 4 have always brought me comfort, and hopefully will do the same for you. May you and your family have peace.
Coping with the loss of loved ones can be difficult to endure. I've found that trusting in Jehovah for comfort can help ease the pain, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) Hopefully, you can find that much-needed comfort.
