Robert A. Frazier, 89, of Batesville, Arkansas died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Born September 6, 1927, in Batesville, he was the son of Sanford Andrew Frazier and Margie L. (George) Frazier.
He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served in the South Pacific during World War II. During his service in the Navy, he was a beachhead master, boilermaker, and after the war, decommissioned ships.
Robert was a member of the American Legion and the DAV in Pfeiffer. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Batesville.
Survivors include a son, Robert Keith Frazier and his wife, Jane Annette, of Fargo, North Dakota; a daughter, Sherry Frazier of Milan, Michigan; five grandchildren, Robert A. Frazier II, of Missouri, Douglas Carl Frazier of Michigan, Andrew Bennett Sanderson of Michigan, Shannon Lee Frazier of North Dakota and Tiffany Nicole Dailey and her husband, Michael, of Minnesota; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Wanda J. (Barnett) Frazier, second wife, Zela Ann (Barnett) Frazier; brother, Buel Frazier; and two sisters, Arva Marie Finnigan and Monnie Lee Black.
There will be a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Ben Ryan officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017.
