My Great Grand Parents were Louis and Stella Walizones and lived across the highway from the Gazo family. Johnny and Wilma were always warm and welcoming. They treated everyone like they were family. Later my Grandmother retired to the farm and they watched out for her. Rene always let us ride their horses when we came to visit. It makes me sad to know his loved one will deeply miss him. His leadership and kindness dwell in all of his children.

To the Gazo Family, our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. A memorable story about Johnny: One month before our mother (Ruby) passed away in Jan,1993, Johnny cut a large cedar tree and brought to the house for Dad (Roy Davidson) and the family to decorate for Christmas. The tree was perfect, beautiful and about 7 feet tall. Christmas eve, Mother was carried to the sofa in the living room and she was able to watch everyone enjoy the evening. We will never forget Johnny and that unforgettable Christmas. (The picture of Lynn in her red sweater and white ear muffs acting silly was made that Christmas eve.) The Davidson's thought the world of Johnny and family.

We first met Johnny, Wilma Jean and Michelle while attending church at Fellowship Tabernacle in Roland many years ago. This family was so warm and friendly to our family and we have never forgotten them. Johnny was a very dedicated and loving man to his family and it was a blessing to have met him. Praying God will give the family strength and comfort during the difficult days ahead.
