Jimmy Ralph Sharp, 70, of Crawfordsville, Arkansas passed away March 28, 2017. He served in the National Guard and was a lifelong farmer and duck hunter. Jimmy served his hometown community of Crawfordsville as a Volunteer Firefighter, City Councilman, and was elected as Mayor where he served several terms. Jimmy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector. Jimmy also served thirty plus years as Chairman of the Crittenden County Soil Conservation District as well as a devoted ''Papaw'' to his grandchildren. Jimmy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Jimmy's survivors are wife; Lynne Sharp, sons; Jamey (Amy) Sharp of Crawfordsville and Ben (Ginger) Barber of Marion, Arkansas, daughter; Emily (Jason) Clements, sisters; Brenda Sharp of Memphis, Tennessee, Madlyn Sharp of West Plains, Missouri, Betty Wolfe of Marmaduke, Arkansas, brother; Buddy Sharp of Redding, California, 6 grandchildren; Jay Sharp, Alli Sharp, Preston Barber, Banks Barber, Caden Clements, and Callyn Clements that he loved dearly. Preceded in passing by his parents; Manuel and Gladys Sharp, and sister; Adelle Woodruff.

Lynne, my deepest sympathy to you and the family. Your loss and pain is felt by a lot of us.

Jimmy and I shared a lot of joys and excitement growing up in high school. He was an inspiration, a great guy, and those memories live.

God bless Jimmy and each of you...... You're in my prayers..
