Annie ''DinDin'' Almira Mitchell Arnet, 92, of Newark, Arkansas died Sunday, March 26, 2017.
Born November 18, 1924, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Wilbur S. Mitchell and Almira Oliva (Tennyson) Mitchell.
She was a homemaker and loved to read, loved baseball and her dog, Samatha. During baseball season, you would find her watching her favorite teams, the Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Chicago Cubs. She attended Believer's Community Church in Batesville.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Wickersham of Newark; a son, Charles Fredrick Arnet Jr. and his wife, Angie, of Russell, Kansas; eleven grandchildren, Toby Clay, Gene Wickersham, Dawnyal Watkins, Nikki Wickerhsam, Lolita Arnet, Erica Arnet, Sadie Arnet, Elias Arnett, Nick Arnet, Lee Ann Arnet, Rose Prewitt; fourteen great-grandchildren, Natasha Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Madison Wickersham, Alyson Wickersham, Airiana Bridges, Chase Bridges, Courtney Clay, Casey Clay, Ethan Clay, Vanessa Arnet, Alexandra Arnet, Madelynn Arnet, Isabella Arnet, Jaxon Arnet; and a brother, Edwin R. Mitchell of Spangle, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Fredrick Arnet Sr.; son, William Patrick Arnet; daughter, Beverly Ann Arnet; and a brother, Raymond Mitchell.
There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2017, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bro. David Insell officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark.
Pallbearers will be Gene Wickersham, Toby Clay, Charles Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Clark Teague and Charles Miller.
Visitation is from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
