Janith, Shirlene and I were best friends many years ago. They lived a couple of houses from my family in Little Rock. After they moved to England we lost touch, but I went to England with the family a couple of times while they were still in Little Rock -- I remember a large weeping willow in the yard of their relative we visited.

When I think of Janith I think of Baby Ruth candy bars; she loved them ... (we had a small grocery store about a half block from our house). They also taught me to put white beans (don't remember if it was navy or great northern) on white bread and mix mayonnaise in the beans. It was good!

Shirlene and Janith were such special people. One regret I've had was losing touch with them! I noticed that someone called Janith classy -- she and Shirlene both were, even at the young ages they were when I knew them.

Please accept my sympathy for your loss.

Bobby, I hope you remember me, Jane from NLR. I styled Janith's hair for many years. I visited Janith several years ago at your house. I still have gifts that Janith gave me over the years. Every time I ran into Alice Ann, I asked about her. I know she will be missed. She was a special person and good friend to me. My prayers are with you, Bobby, Jeff and Shelley. Jane
