Farris ''Jack'' Lawrence, 81, of Vilonia, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at 1:06 P.M.. Mr. Lawrence was born on Friday, April 5, 1935 at Centerville, Arkansas and was a son of the late Doyle and Carra Hankins Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence worked 26 years at International Shoe Company, 35 years at the Faulkner County Road Department and two years for Webco Rock Crusher. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vilonia.
His family will remember him as a dedicated provider to his family and as a man who loved to help others. He loved his cows and farming for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was loved by many within Faulkner County.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edna (Love) Lawrence of Vilonia; children, Jackie Lawrence and wife Pam of Vilonia, Terry Lawrence of Conway and Larry Lawrence and wife Donna of Conway; grandchildren, Tara Gunter, Laci Sweeney, Colt Lawrence, Cortney Swaffar and Farris Lawrence; great-grandchildren, Zane Gunter, Zoie Gunter, Jase Lawrence, Josh Lawrence, Nathan Swaffar, Kollin Swaffar, Pacey Swaffar, Tinlee Sweeney, and Jack Sweeney; a sister, Charlotte Williams of Vilonia; two brothers, Dee Lawrence of Conway and Bill Lawrence of Vilonia; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2017 between the hours of 2:00 and 4:00 P.M. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 20, 2017 at Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia with Pastor Randy Cloud officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

He will indeed be missed by family and friends that so loved him.

Mrs Lawrence, Terry and family, my prayers are with you during this time. I remember Mr Jack with the fondest respect. He always had the biggest smile and a kind word. The Lawrence's are a wonderful family. God bless you all.
Mr. Jack was a friend and patient at Dr. Pollard's office for 30+ years. I loved visiting with him...he had the best stories, especially his "grader" stories! Such a kind and generous man. I will miss him, but I know where he is and who he's with...until we meet again...love you Mr. Jack.
