Betty Jo Rohrscheib, age 89, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Helena. Betty was born September 4, 1927 in Grandfield, Oklahoma to the late Clarence and Maude James. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, worked as a legal secretary and was a hospital volunteer.

Betty rode the school bus with her children to fulfill her high school diploma. She then graduated from Phillips County Community College with an Associate's Degree.

Baptized as a young child, she now resides with her Lord.

Betty is survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and several extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, F.B. Rohrscheib; and two sons, Ben Rohrscheib and Truett Rohrscheib.

A service for Betty Jo Rohrscheib will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 27, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church in West Helena. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. at the church. Brother Craig Routon will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
