Shirley Mae Landau Robbins

Shirley Mae Landau Robbins, 84, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at her home. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma and will be dearly missed by all who loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Robbins, her parents, William and Esther Landau, brothers, Wesley and Merle Landau and grandson, Josh Hill.

She is survived by three sons, Ben, Rodney and Randy Robbins, two daughters, Cindy Hill and Sherry Jennings, five grandchildren, Crystal, Katie, Denise, Jake and Brian and great grandchildren, Lance, Destiny, Hudson, Annalie and Sophie.

A woman of strength and independence, her work ethic, character and integrity were second to none. She taught us to never give up, push through the tough times and find ways to work through our difficulties. She was a blessing and we were and are proud to call her Mom, Gramma and Great Gramma. She will be missed and we will carry her in our hearts always. Rest In Peace Mom.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. - John 14:27

I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Psalm 116:1-2

My Gramma. Love and miss you so much! I'm grateful you're no longer in pain and able to walk, dance, and jump into grandpa's arms! I bet Heaven is so amazing! Thank you for everything you showed and taught me through my life, including unconditional love, courage and strength. Will keep you always in my heart. Love you!

A good lady has left us, but I know she is no longer in pain. I know you will miss her so much, but I remember my Mom's favorite verse and I think of it now when I think of your Mom. Romans 8:28 - All things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose.

Mom,

It's been three days since you passed, and I miss you more than words can express. My heart has a painful emptiness. You were a strong woman. You taught me to stand up for what I believe in and I got my strong work ethic from you. You were a wonderful Mom and Gramma to my kids. Thank you for being my Mom. I love you!! 💕
