Billie F. Roberts, 85, 0f Lexa, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017.
She was born April 5, 1931 to William Abels and Francis Elizabeth Bloesch .
Billie is survived by two sons, Michael Roberts (Lisa) of Memphis, Tennessee and David Roberts of Memphis; one daughter, Debra Massey of Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin W. Roberts; her parents and two brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Abels.
Services will be Monday, January 23, 2017 at Roller-Citizens at 10:00 a.m. visitation is 9:00-10:00 a.m. before services, burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Serving as Pallbearers will be Dennis Roberts, Derick Purser, Kyle Purser, Brian Roberts, Bill Abels and Bubba Ryan. Brother Ken Chaney will be in charge of services. I can clearly remember walking into her house for a visit many years ago and hear her holler "the Yankees are here". Still makes me laugh. She was a very funny lady. Will miss her.
