Cheryl S. Cisne, 67, of Little Rock passed away at home Wednesday, January 11, 2017.
She was born to the late Gin and Doris Shelby in El Dorado, Arkansas May 6, 1949. Cheryl graduated from El Dorado High School in 1967 and went on to attend UCA in Conway.
Cheryl spent her working years as a registered sales representative for Stephens, Inc. and then Paine Webber. She was a long-time member of St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Pleasant Valley Ladies Golf Association and often could be found on the links. She had an eye for antique furniture, and she dabbled in watercolors, painting landscapes most often.
Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband, Dick Cisne; sons, James W. Gentry and Derek Cisne; grandchildren, Madeline Grace Gentry, Gavin Merritt Gentry, and their mother, Dr. Rhonda Gentry; grandson, Logan William Cisne and his mother, Courtney Cisne; brother, Doug Shelby; nephew, Hayden Shelby; step-mother, Mary Shelby; step-siblings, Beth Barton Reynolds and Bill Barton; many friends; and her beloved dog, Jack.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Sharon Shelby; and step-sister, Bonelle Boles.
The family would like to express appreciation to the caregivers who went above and beyond their duties to offer comfort and assistance to Cheryl and the entire family: Lakeisha Barnum, Raven Justice, Latoya Hodges, and Brenda Lloyd.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212, (501)217-6700. A reception to celebrate Cheryl's life will be held at Pleasant Valley Country Club following the service.
Services are entrusted to Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, 72211, (501)224-8300.

Dick: I am deeply saddened over the loss of Cheryl. I remember happy times spent together at PVCC with mutual friends and celebrating New Year's Eve among those same dear friends.
I hold you and your family close in my thoughts, heart and prayers. Having lost my precious Gary in 2014, I understand the struggle...

Richard; I read of your spouse's Passing while searching for another friend's obit. I did not know your lovely wife but I do know you. I am a 1969 Conway High graduate. You and I played on the football team in 1966 and 1967. I know you are a supporter of The Boys and Girl's Clubs as I am also. I often read your name in reports I received as my former organizations club representative.

I would like to send my Deepest Condolences to the Cisne family.What little time I did know ms Cheryl, I Loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed. May the Good LORD show Mercy and Grace on family and friends. She's in a perfect body now. GOD BLESS.
Sweet lady...who I hadn't seen in many years but was praying for her. I was with her when she made her one and only Eagle on Hindman GC and we were all so excited. Good memories. God rest her precious soul.

So sorry for your loss. Charles and I are in the PSP group. We had the pleasure to get to know Cheryl. She was a lovely lady. Our prayers go out to the family and good friends that came to our meetings with her.
