Wilda Ann Spellings Malone passed away peacefully in the afternoon on January 7, 2017. Wilda was born July 12, 1922, to the late Holmes and Callie Spellings in Milan, Tennessee. Her sisters Reba, Carolyn, and Julia, and her brothers William and Byron Spellings preceded her in death. She was married to James C. Malone from Milan, Tennessee, for 56 years before his death.

Wilda is survived by her three children, Billy Malone of West Helena, Arkansas (Linda), Betty Bowie of Montgomery, Texas (Terry), and Cindy Sibley of West Helena, Arkansas (Ernie). She leaves behind six grandchildren, Melinda Wilson of West Helena, Arkansas, Darrin Malone of Paragould, Arkansas, Diana Kimberly of Montgomery, Texas, Chris Bowie of Spring, Texas, Callie Phillips of West Helena, Arkansas, and Keith Fotioo of Little Rock, Arkansas. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Jim and Wilda moved to West Helena, Arkansas in 1958. She worked for the Bobbie Brooks garment factory for 3 years and, together, in 1961, they purchased O.K. Tire Store and worked side by side for 26 years until their retirement. Together, they made O.K. Tire Store one of the most successful tire businesses in the area. It eventually became a full, independent tire business known as Malone's O.K. Tire and it is still in the family today.

We are thinking of you all today, as you say goodbye to this sweet lady. She will be missed by everyone that was blessed to have her in their life. She was always an elegant lady, and was always so kind to my sweet Mother-in-law at Crestpark. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Henry and Billie Sue

Billy and family, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing, but what a life she lived with your father for 56 years!! They WERE OK tire and did a great job of serving this community before moving to Milan. Their values were instilled into their children, who have since passed it on to another generation of Malone's. What a great testimony of their lives. Condolences to you and your family.
