of Springdale, AR
November 3, 1927 - January 6, 2017
Mrs. Naomi Jeanette Toler of Springdale, AR passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 6, 2017. Jeanette, or ''˜Mem' as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her, was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert William Toler, and her parents Luther and Lula Tipton. Leaving behind to cherish her memories and sweet and loving personality are her children, Robbie Lynn Horton (Jerry) of Springdale, and Ron Toler of Little Rock. Also, her greatest delights, grandchildren Brett Horton (Jamie), Heather Horton, and great grandchildren Emily Horton, Barrett Horton and Connor Horton.
Mem was born November 3, 1927 in England, Arkansas. She graduated from North Little Rock High School in 1945 and spent most of her working life in the banking industry.
A devoted Christ follower, the highlight of Mem's life was twice traveling to Israel. Never was she more invigorated than walking in the footsteps of Christ and his disciples. She leaves to us all a legacy of faith, love, and selflessness that we can only hope to emulate.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, 501-224-8300, Tuesday, January 10 from 5:00 -7:00 pm. I am so sorry for the family's loss. It has been many years sent I've seen Jeanette but have many fond memories of her and her family. Prayers and thoughts. Donna
My condolences to all the family. I had the pleasure of doing Ms Jeanette's hair . I sure will miss her and her beautiful smile. She was such a sweetheart and a delight to visit with on Friday's. I'll miss our 11:30 dates every week. She was a lovely lady inside and out and she will definitely be missed.
God Bless!
Jeanette and i lived near each other in Rose City for several years, even rode to work together occasionally at FNBLR. She was a good friend, great co-worker, and a role model for anyone who aspired to be well turned out every single day. Every hair in place, fashionable, and meticulous in every way. She adored Robert and her two children, was a committed Christian, and she was sorely missed when she and Robert moved to Jonesboro. She left an enviable legacy for all who knew her.
Robbie, my deepest sympathies to you and the Family. Jeanette was a gracious and lovely lady in all of the Southern tradition. I loved that she was your Mom and that I was privileged to know
her!
Love you! Mano
