Vera Marie Bockelman., age 89, of Gassville, Arkansas passed into eternal rest Thursday, December 1, 2016, in Gassville. She was born July 26, 1927 in Waldenburg, Arkansas to Alfred and Anna (Koppeis) Wolf.
Vera is survived by her daughter Linda Arnold of Mountain Home, two sons: David (Terri) Bockelman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Richard (Monica) Bockelman of Corpus Christi, Texas, daughter-in-law Kathy (Doyle) Cunningham of Louisville, Kentucky, grandchildren: Amanda Bockelman of Lexington, Kentucky, Jon Bockelman of Louisville, Kentucky, Josh Bockelman of Bentonville, Arkansas, Lyndsey Bockelman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Kenneth Bockelman of Corpus Christi, Texas and great-grandchildren: Vincent and Adi Kirk of Lexington, Kentucky. Also surviving are her brother Robert Wolf of Jonesboro, Arkansas and sisters: Minnie Sue Johnson of Conroe, Texas, Rosalie Schmidt of St. Louis, Missouri and Clara Erickson of Bryant, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George, son, Charles and siblings: brothers, Ernest, Sonny and Freddie and sister, Kathleen.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, at Redeemer Lutheran Church with Reverend John Easterling officiating. Visitation will be 3-5 pm at Roller Funeral Home, Sunday, December 4, 2016. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,210 N Walton Blvd #25, Bentonville, AR 72712 or Redeemer Lutheran Church, 312 W. North Street, Mountain Home Arkansas 72653.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Vera's passing. She was such a sweet lady & a very dear friend for many years. I enjoyed visiting with her at the Gassville Nursing Home even though I'm not sure she really remembered who I was. She will be missed!!
