Marilyn Louise Sandusky, 72, of Bigelow, Arkansas, formerly of Little Rock, went to meet the Lord Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2016.

Marilyn was a state employee for 35 years at the IRP Department. She was a long-time member of Immanuel Baptist Church and a member of the Believers Sunday School Class. She took joy in cards and prayers from her friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Ed Watkins; mother, Thelma; sisters Joyce Bushart-Johnson and Janice Anspach. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jimmy Sandusky; nieces, Stacey (Ted) Benegar, Sara, and Anna Grace Benegar; nephew Cody Benegar; nephew James Bushart and brother-in-law Norman Anspach of Little Rock.

Jimmy, Marilyn was a member of the Class at Immanuel. I am also in that class. Mariilyn was so sweet and genuine. I just wanted you to know how much I loved her. She has always been so special to me.. I am so blessed to have had her as a friend for many years. Love in Christ, Julianne Brown

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Marilyn. I am very glad we got to visit at the Milliken's a few weeks ago. Also we had many good visits at the July 4th outings every year. I was always teasing her about retiring. We will all miss her at these events. Prayers for you at this sad time in your life.

I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn in IRP, I was her assistant supervisor for a few years before she retired. I had the utmost respect for her and she taught me a lot. She will be missed and will forever be a part of IRP. My sincere condolences.
