How awesome to have been together for over seventy years! Dear Coy, what you and Dorothy shared together all these years, and all the memories of your life together will comfort you in the hard days to come when you and your children and grandchildren and the rest of that wonderful, incredible Charlton family will be missing her. Henry and I only had 46 years and eight short months together. Praise God for the promise that soon to come ( I believe) and documented in the scripture ( I Thessalonians 4:16-17) the trumpet WILL blow and the dead in Christ SHALL rise FIRST, then we who are alive and remain SHALL be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we EVER be with the lord. And, we are instructed to comfort one another with these words! Our job is to "hold forth the word of life so that we can rejoice in the day of Christ". With much love I will be praying for you all during this time of grief.
