Mandee Elizabeth Gail Robertson

of Maumelle, AR

June 24, 1992 - November 12, 2016

Mandee Elizabeth Gail Robertson, 24, of Maumelle, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 12, 2016. She was born Wednesday, June 24, 1992 in Millington, Tennessee to Lynn Robertson and Debbie Iburg Robertson.

Our whole family knew Mandee to be full of sayings about life that she lived by, her mom called them ''Mandeeisms'' and whenever she would pop out with one of them, we would all laugh, or be amazed at her wisdom beyond her years. ''Home is where your story begins'' was one of them, and that is where her heart was, because she loved us, her family and friends. From her very start she was bubbly and cheerful. She would say ''Happy Girls Shine Brighter.'' When Mandee was seven years old she gave her life to Jesus, and she was never afraid to share her love of Him. She was bold, and silly, and she was fun. Mandee truly was our little ray of sunshine everywhere she went and to everyone she met. Anyone who has been fortunate enough to meet her would say that she was their best friend. Mandee would say, ''Nothing Can Be Sweeter than Friendship''; and she never met a stranger. Mandee found joy in putting a smile on somebody else's face every day. She was always happy. She was loud and uplifting. With her contageous smile and her infectious laugh she could turn anyone's day around. She lived by the words ''A Smile is the Prettiest Thing a Girl Can Wear.'' It didn't matter what kind of terrible day she was having she would tell everyone ''Life is too short to be sad or mad and I won't waste one day on it.'' When she was eight years old her daddy taught her how to play the drums. She became an amazing drummer for many church bands and continued to play wherever she could. She often dreamed of becoming a professional drummer! ''Don't quit your Daydream'' is what she would say. Mandee did have dreams and she knew that ''Dreams don't work unless you do.'' She achieved one of her dreams as a competition cheerleader and gymnast. She attended the Universal Cheer Association Competition in Daytona Beach with the UALR Competition Team. She has over 100 trophies for winning gymnastic and cheerleading competitions across three states and was an Arkansas State overall gymnastic champion when she was 12 years old. But above all Mandee was a cheerleader for all of us! She and her dad love football, especially watching America's Team the Dallas Cowboys. Her love of jeeps, and most of all her ''Sunshine,'' began when she learned how to drive in her daddy's old black jeep out on the prairie in Colorado, dodging cactus and tumbleweeds. She continued that love by going mudding and rock climbing with her friends and belonging to many jeep clubs. Most of all we will remember how much she wanted to give of herself to others. She said ''You should be the change you want to see in the world.'' This is why she worked so hard at being a full-time student at UALR where she would have earned her double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice in one more year. Her goal was to be an FBI Agent focusing on Human Trafficking. Mandee also worked hard at being an assistant manager on her job, going to school and playing hard too! She would say, ''No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they had plenty of sleep.'' When she finally went to sleep to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, we all felt like we had lost our Sunshine, but we haven't. We all know that ''Everywhere she goes she leaves a little sparkle.''

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth Iburg and J.C. and Mable Robertson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Lynn and Debbie Robertson of Maumelle; sister, Sundri Gail Robertson of Conway; brother, Robbie Robertson and wife Sarah of Maumelle; grandmother, Dessie Iburg of Conway; nieces, Jordan Eleanor Robertson and Charlee Harper; nephews, Atticus Robertson and Andrew Bilderback; and a host of other family and friends who loved her deeply.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016, 5:00-8:00PM at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Bro. Shane Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Holland.

Dear Lynna and Debbie and Dessie,
The world is a little darker today and heaven a little brighter. According to the video, Mandee crammed a lot of life into her shoe life. She was an absolute joy to be around and I loved the way she called me "cousin" from the first time we met😊.
I can't imagine how broken your heart is. May God grant you an extra portion of His Grace and Peace.
Love and Prayers,
Dot and Don

When I first met Mandee she was just a little girl, but her first question was, "Do you know Jesus?" I was so stunned but so proud to say "YES!" Many months later this wonderful little lady worked tirelessly with my 14 month old son until he started walking. He saw something in her he loved. Just like we all do. Rest well Mandee girl. I love you.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mandee. She was such a joy to have as a friend. Always had a smile on her face. She was my Jeep buddy. We would always talk about our Jeeps and what upgrade we were going to do next. She had a smile on her face 24/7 . If you ever had a bad day, all you had to do was talk to Mandee and your day would be all better. God has gained another angel.

I have no words to admirably describe my relationship with Mandee. She truly held me up with her strength when no one else would. She was my angel in disguise! No matter what mood I was in, she knew how to make me laugh or smile. I can't begin to explain how much I loved her & how grateful I am for her friendship. Friends come & go but she never did.
