I am sorry for the loss of another very elderly man and that he was a McCoy from Gruggs ......... interested me enough to want to write. This may be very rude to write on a guestbook. I was the youngest daughter of Elmer and Jaunita (Thacker) Sutterfield. Jaunita was the oldest daughter of Nettie (Treat) (Thacker) (McCoy) She was the wife of Robert McCoy and he was a very very dear grandpa even though he was really my step grandfather. We knew a Barney McCoy and I think he ran a gas station in Newport. I know my mom had wrote down W.N. McCoy. We picked cotton in Grubbs for Loftin London and Berneva and their boys, Boyce Wayne, Jimmy and Coy Neil. I also have a name written down W.N. McCoy and Lloyd Cloud.
If anyone can help me with info I would love it. I just hate to lose contact with friends. ronnied.lee@mvtel.net or on facebook mazie lee. Again I apologize if I didn't need to do this. Again we are sorry for his wife for I know they have enjoyed a long life.
May you Rest In Peace, Uncle Peck. My condolences to my McCoy family.
Jo Ann & I mourn uncle Charley's passing and can only feel an ounce of the pounds of anguish and loneliness that his devoted wife, aunt Gladys, must now bear. Our sincerest condolences.
JoAnn & Jim McCoy
Our deepest sympathy thots and prayers for you Ms McCoy
