I served in the Navy.
LCDR Michael B. Lee, USNI am a Veteran.

of Chula Vista, CA

June 23, 1975 - October 24, 2016

LCDR Michael Brandon Lee, USN, age 41, of Chula Vista, California, passed away suddenly Monday, October 24, 2016. He was the loving husband of Rebecca Sue Braun and devoted father of Grayson Michael. He was the son of the late Frank Alan Lee, Sr. and Linda Louann (Thornton) Lee. Michael was born June 23, 1975, in Harrison, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father; and all his grandparents, Earl and Modean Thornton and Dorothy and C.H. Lee.

Michael was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy and was currently actively serving in his 23rd year as an INSERV inspector. Michael loved fishing, camping, watching football (GO COWBOYS!), and spending time with his wife and son. Michael loved his pets and his classic 1968 GTO. As a child Michael liked to ride around the neighborhood with his brothers on their bikes and explore the ravines around Crooked Creek. Michael will be best remembered for his smile and wickedly funny sense of humor. ''Always with a smile.''

Michael is survived by his mother, Linda Lee, of Harrison; his brothers, F. Alan Lee (Don Bolinger) of Little Rock, Bryan (Amy) Lee of Stafford, Virginia, and Douglas Lee of Harrison, Arkansas; his nephews, Dalton, Brandon, Kaden, Roman and Evander. He is also survived by his nieces, Harley and Isabel.

Funeral service was Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Roller-Christeson Chapel, Harrison, Arkansas, with Bro. Arlis Thrasher and Chaplain Kyle Fauntleroy officiating.

Pallbearers were the U.S. Military Honors.

Honorary pallbearers were Josh Dale, Greg Cross, Billy and Brad Thornton, Scott Thornton, Phillip and Jeffrey Brack, and Dane and Nick Vandervelden.

Interment was in Maple Leaf Cemetery with a reception to follow at St. John's Episcopal Church, 707 W. Central Ave. Harrison, Arkansas.

Lee family,

There are no amount of words nor materialistic items that can fill the pain or void suffered at this time. We lift you all up daily in prayer and wish to send our love your way. The Navy lost a fine sailor, shipmate, and naval officer. We are all mourning LCDR Lee and remember the amazing impact he had on the team and everyone that knew him. Fair winds and following seas sir, we have the watch.

Yours truly,
The Kashou Family
