Eunice M. Godfrey, 90 of Hardy, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Godfrey was born January 1, 1926 at Marvell, Arkansas to the late Jessie and Dora Duren. She worked for Bobbie Brooks Sewing Factory, and owned three restaurants. In 1989 she moved to Hardy, Arkansas and became a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas.

She is survived by one son, Albert Godfrey (Pam) of Hardy, Arkansas; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Godfrey is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Harvey E. Godfrey; one daughter, Sharon Kay Godfrey Henson; four brothers; and two sisters.

A graveside service for Eunice M. Godfrey will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.
