Greg was a great guy and a good friend! I only knew him a short time but in that time he shared and taught me things about Ham radio and how to have faith in GOD no matter the occasion. Greg will be missed by myself and many others!

Dear Family, Although I did not have the honor of knowing Greg and his beautiful family very well, I enjoyed the interactions we had together in the Faulkner County Amateur Radio Club. Greg's life-walk was one of integrity and love for God, and for his family and for others...as his middle namesake, David, is described in the Word, Greg is "a man after God's own heart." I miss him, he leaves the world behind a better place, just because he was here.

Once in a while you meet someone with a spirit that touches the lives of everyone they meet. They brighten your day and always have a smile and a kind word. Greg was one such person, I will miss him greatly as will all that knew him.

I quite often feel that I don't have the proper words when I'm parted from a friend much too soon. I believe, or at least hope, this time I have a few that are worthy of sharing.

Greg was one of those souls that managed to help bring out the best in those around him just by being there and I, honestly, don't remember a time when he wasn't smiling, or helping someone else to find their own.

It's hard to have a bad day if he's in the same room with you. Simple as that.

I met Greg 24 years ago as part of the rag-tag group I used to hang around with back then. As often tends to happen... work, time and life in general managed to break us all apart for a good many years.

Recently I, along with the rest of the Faulkner County Amateur Radio Club, was fortunate enough to once again be treated to his good spirits through the camaraderie of amateur radio when he became a member of his extended radio family.

It was almost as if we picked up where we left off.
I am grateful for this.

Greg, your company WILL be sorely missed and we were all the better for it. Godspeed my friend.

Until we meet again somewhere amongst the Ether.

I'm a traveling highway construction worker and was working on I-40 through Conway in 2003 & 2004. It's a tough life moving from place to place, but I joined Greg & Tonya's small group during that time and always felt welcome and valued in their home. I consider myself blessed to be mentored by Greg during that year or so and his example of Christ-likeness has always stayed with me through the years. When I drive through Arkansas I remember Greg's influence in my life and I thank God for allowing me to know him. I look forward to catching up with Greg when I reach Heaven's gates!

Greg remarked once on how good God is as he watched his oldest two kids (then small children) play in the yard. He has reminded us over and over again this last year as he has battled cancer that God is still good even in our suffering. Thanks Greg for pastoring us so well.

Dear Tonya,
My deepest sympathy. I am praying that God gives you the strength to lean on Him for help in this time. It seems like only last year that I drove to Texarkana to your wedding. I realize it has been longer, but I really cared about you then and now.
