Alice Marvine (Hensley) Hawkins-Fouts of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 23, 2016. Visitation will be held at Roller Funeral Home on Sunday, September 25, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, at 10:00 am at the College and North Street Church of Christ.
Marvine was born on June 16, 1930, in Mountain Home to Nona (Fowler) and Golden T. Hensley. She married Glen Hawkins on August 28, 1946, and the two were blessed with a wonderful daughter, Glenda, a year later. After 44 years of marriage, Glen passed away in 1990. She later married Eugene Fouts of Mountain Home. After 12 years of marriage, Eugene passed away in 2010.
Marvine was an amazing mother, homemaker, and loving wife. She was a Christian lady who loved her Lord and her church family. She also enjoyed visits with close friends and family.
Marvine was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Billie Hensley, and one sister, Florence Tucker.
Marvine is survived by her daughter, Glenda, and loving son-in-law, Frank Seymour, 2 grandchildren; Lance, and wife Staci, Seymour, and Leah Seymour, and close friend, Christopher Posey, 3 great-grandchildren; Jackson Seymour, and Danielle and Morgan Farmer, all of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by a sister, Imogene, and husband Gerald Lance of Mountain Home, and a brother-in-law, Junior Tucker, of Gainesville, Missouri as well as many nieces and nephews.

My heart is so sad hearing about the passing of Alice. She was such a sweet lady and always a pleasure to be around. She will be missed so much. Prayers for all the family.

A sad day for those who knew Marvine, but a glorious day for those in heaven who welcome her home.
She was always upbeat and brought happiness to everyone she met.
When I think of Marvine, I always thought of the virtuous women described in Proverbs.
She will be missed,
