Forrest Amon Jobe 90, of Vilonia departed this world Sunday, September 18, 2016 at UAMS Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born February 27, 1926 in Naylor, Arkansas to Tommy Franklin and Amy (Henry) Jobe.
Mr. Jobe was a member of Naylor United Methodist Church. He was a sportsman, farmer, cattleman, and retired shoemaker from SAS of Conway. He was an Army veteran of World War II where he served in Germany. Forrest loved everyone he met, and was thought of as a great man by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jonnie Jobe, brother, Buck Jobe and wife Codean, and a sister, Learlean Caputo.
He is survived by his, sister, Syble Harrison of Vilonia, son, Charles Jobe and wife Rosemary of Naylor; daughter, Sherry Cates and husband, Skip of Vilonia; grandchildren, Jason Jobe and wife Tonya; Shannon & Susie Carter , and Shawn Carter; great-grandchildren, Jaycie and Jenna Jobe; and Nicholas and Kassidy Carter as well as a number of nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers: Charles Jobe, Skip Cates, Shawn Carter, Shannon Carter, Jason Jobe, and Nicholas Carter.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, September 20, 2016 and Funeral Service will be 10:00am Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Conway, Arkansas with Pastors Joe Engdahl and Luke Parker officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley, Cemetery Naylor, Arkansas.

I am so sorry to hear of this. I had the pleasure of working with him and Jonnie for 10 years at SAS. They were so adorable! Forrest was one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing and I will always remember him. I know he is hand in hand with Jonnie now and a happy man for sure! Prayers for all of you........we lost a good man.
