S.W. "Dub" Lynn died Thursday, August 25 and his wife of 44 years Oleva Lynn died Sunday, August 28. Both were from Conway, and both were 89.
They are survived by five sons, Ted Douglas, Guy Lynn, Scott Lynn, Kevin Douglas and Mitch Lynn, and five daughters Deb Garrison, Pat Haggard, Suzanne Madden, Robin Kirby, and Kelly Waltrip
Dub is survived by two brothers Alan Lynn and Douglas Lynn and four sisters Glenda Jones, Norma Bradford, Laverne Phillips and Janice Eddy. They are survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Dub began his career in the milk industry delivering milk by horse and wagon and advanced to president of Gold Star Dairy. His intelligence, hard work, and dedication lead to a revolution in the milk processing industry and at the time of his retirement he was managing dairy processing plants throughout the United States.
Oleva was a tireless mother, homemaker and wife. She had a career in managing women's clothing stores and owned and managed antique stores. One of her passions was buying and selling antiques.
They both enjoyed traveling and saw the world. After Dub's retirement at age 65 they spent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week together in a unique and loving relationship.
The family would like to express their gratitude to son-in-law John-Paul Morrison who was Dub's loving caregiver in his final days.
Dub and Oleva were married at the Greene Chapel at Hendrix College and their Memorial Service will be at 7 PM, Wednesday at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to The Humane Society.

Suzanne, Ted, Kevin,
Praying for comfort and ever lasting memories. I remember your mother so well from my childhood. She carried on and was a strong woman after PJ passed. She set examples and I remember well, Oleva and my mom composing and turning in the letter that helped make it so girls could wear pants to school . I know I told her Thank you and got my pants at the Colony Shop! Find comfort in each other.
Y'all are in my thoughts a prayers
