James I. Ricks, 83, of West Memphis, AR passed away August 17, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Aline Ricks.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elouise Ricks of West Memphis, AR; 3 daughters, Becky Vega (Raymond) of West Memphis, AR, Phyllis Johnson (Joe) of West Memphis, AR, Tammy Garrott of West Memphis, AR; 6 grandchildren, Blaine Johnson, Sydney Johnson, Candice Woods, Killey Garrott, Bailey Vega, Natalie Vega; 2 great-grandchildren, Anniston Woods, Bryson Woods; and a sister, Donna Vaccaro (David) of Bartlett, TN.
Eloise, I am your neighbor at 1010 Arlington DR..I remember you from back in the 60's when we lived on East End of town. I ran the Imperial Drive INN Grocery when you were a beautician on Ingram Blvd. Now you just live around the corner from me..So sorry to see that your husband has passed away recently...We all work for years then God calls us home...I will pray that you find peace in knowing Jesus cares and will walk with you thru your loss... Don't know if you still work, but if you want to stoo by sometime for coffee, please do..I am alone all day till 4PM,,One of my granddaughters lives wirh me and comes home from college around 4,,Take care,,
Sonny was a wonderful person and friend. I will miss his company.
