From the 7th grade until now I have known Charlene. Our 12th grade graduated from Woodruff High, the last class. She was always so sweet, kind and gentle. I have only good memories of her. Coming back to West Helena will not seem the same. Goodbye my friend.
I have been thinking of all of you for the past weeks. i know Mom and Aunt Sis are together right this minute and i can hear Mom calling to Aunt Sis to come down from that tree ( the big pecan on the home place ). One of many stories she told me. Love yall, see you soon.

I am so sorry about Sis passing. She and DL were great neighbors (back in the day) and she had so many words of wisdom for this very dumb newlywed! I have very many fond memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
