Oretha M. Cloud, 96, of Conway, formerly of Logansport, IN went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was born May 24, 1920 to the late Willard and Frona Sheets Butts. Oretha was also preceded in death by her husband, M.Sgt. Ernest E. Cloud, United States Army retired.

Oretha was a Beautician for over 40 years in Logansport, IN and later moved to Conway, AR in 1986 to be near her daughter and Family. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Conway and a member of Conway Newcomers since 1986, where she enjoyed playing racehorse canasta and handwork group. Oretha was also a member for over 50 years of Royal Center, Indiana Order of the Eastern Star and of Logansport, Indiana VFW Auxiliary.

Oretha is survived by her daughter, Sharon and Joseph (Joe) Brown, grandson, Shawn and Parisa Brown of Jonesboro, AR, great-granddaughters, Amelia Jane and Perry Leann Brown and grandson, Dr. (Capt.) Chad and Kari Brown of Baumholder, Germany, great- grandsons, Ayden Joseph and Garrett Reid Brown. She had one brother, Robert L. Butts and two nieces, Kathy Barrett and Rhonda Edwards, all of Frankfort, IN.

A graveside service will be at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA., with her beloved late husband of over 40 years at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to c/o Murat Temple, 502 N. New Jersey, Indianapolis, IN. 46204.
