Helen was a special receptionist and would make everyone entering our funeral home to feel at ease and welcome. She comforted the bereaved and conveyed helpfulness to all who called on the telephone. She was a very special friend and co-worker. I was blessed to have worked with Helen.
Kindest regards, Terry & Billie
So sorry for your loss...
What can I say about Helen B.. She was one of a kind. I'd know her since she and Percy move to Arkansas, I must have been 10 to 12. I use to babysit with Diana, Debbie and Christ. She and Mother were best friends for over sixty years.. I can hear her and Mother today in heaven just laughing so hard it would make the clouds shake. I was so glad to see her when Mother past, and was heart broken when Diana called me and gave me the news about Helen B. (Since my name is Helen also, Mother always called her Helen B. to distinguish the two) I plan to be there tonight to see all of you. Prayers are with you all.
We knew your mother when she worked at Roy Fisher's. We were regular patrons there and remember fondly the banter between Helen and our father when she served us. She always made him laugh. In our teenage years we too worked at Fisher's on the weekend and that is where we came to know and appreciate your mother's fun loving spirit. We have always remembered her fondly from those days and having lost our own dear mother this past December our deepest sympathy goes out to your family in your time of grief.
