William ''Bill'' Edward Cole, 71 of Clarksville, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 in Grady, Arkansas. He was born September 18, 1944 in Clarksville to Mr. John and Eula (Holeman) Cole. Bill was a retired police officer with the Clarksville Police Department. Mr. Cole is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, John Cole and Pierce Cole.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Cole; daughters, Trixi Maness of Coal Hill, Christi Cole and Deborah Rigsby of Clarksville, Kari Cole of Lajunta, CO, and Gina Beatty of Tennessee; sons, William Bart Cole, Brian Edward Cole, and William Perren all of Clarksville; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Cole will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Price Town Cemetery, with Bro. Charlie Boone officiating.

My "heart" is very heavy, Cousin Edward and I spent so much time together, we were like brothers, when were in Arkansas. I only wish I could have seen him one more time. The last time I got to talk to him and see him was with Sherman, Edward was carrying a very large catfish he had just caught. My family and I are praying for you all for all that is needed during this difficult time, may each of you feel the peace and comfort that only God can give. I will always cherish the wonderful memories that Edward and I have had. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
