May your family take comfort in this verse; John 5:28, 29: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” May Jesus’ words of the resurrection hope bring you comfort in your time of grief.

What did you see when you looked at Ouida? I saw a spunky, kind, loving, and witty little Lady! It was no secret that she loved to talk and to tease a lot !!! She loved her friends and family . When you came under her roof she was quick to share stories with you about them ! She talked to me about her Faith and always offered me encouragement with Love ! She was bold and pulled no punches. If she thought someone was doing something that they shouldn't be doing , she didn't hesitate to ask them to show her in the Bible where God says you can do that ! She was grateful for all acts of kindness shown toward her whether large or small . She impressed me the most because she faced the "storms of this life" with an unwavering Faith and Love for the Lord! Sweet Ouida, we will miss you very much , but rejoice knowing that now your eyes and ears can see and hear with perfect clarity ! She has finished her course, fought a good fight, henceforth a crown of righteousness waits her! A beautiful, faithful child of God has gone Home !
