I was lucky enough to work with Bill during my time at KFFA, way back in the middle 1970s, and he was a sweet man. Kind to me, the 'newcomer-whippersnapper' and treated me with respect. I looked up to him. Love and thoughts to his family.

We in Houston are very saddened by the passing of our Silver Fox. He was one of a kind, as his family well knows. He is now in the heavens with his beloved Mother and Daddy, probably looking down on us now wondering why we are all so sad. I can't begin to tell you how he inspired me to be a drummer. For that experience, I will be forever grateful. Our sympathies go out to the Holland family. I am really wishing that we were there with you to celebrate his life because I know that there is a LOT of celebrating going on.

Well the world lost a very special man the other day but there is no more pain and suffering my favorite Uncle!! From the time that I was a young boy, I longed for the trips to Helena to see you guys. We are all going to miss the Fox, but one thing for certain, we are all better people to have known him.

Pat, the boys, Jenny and all the great and grand children, my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you during this trying time, but have comfort and solace in the thought that he is on God's course today hittin' it straight down the center cut with his caddy, Pete Maynard lining up his putts and icing down the beers.

I am just so blessed that he was able to make the trip to Hilton Head a few years back. I will never forget walking down the fairway of number 18 at Harbor Town with the sun setting over Calibogy Sound and that contagious smirk/smile he would give me and that legendary deep radio voice saying "it don't get much better than this boys"!!
