I returned today and learned of Wynell's passing. Wynell has a special place in my heart and always will for her warm smile and kind way. I can't imagine her ever being cross or upset with anyone as all I ever experienced was the warm smile that could make you melt. The last year as her health started failing she still managed to put on that smile. I have many fun memories of her that we all can smile and laugh about but she taught me a special lesson and that was the value of a handwritten thank you. She never failed to bring me a card for just about everything. She would take the time and write out a simple thank you and hand deliver it to my office with that smile. I told her that it was not necessary and she would say people need to know that you appreciate them . I have since bought my own thank you cards and try to be as diligent as she was impossible task but those words stuck with me. I never doubted how she felt about me and I felt the same about her. Let people know they are appreciated my life lesson from Wynell ! She was so proud of all her Children and when walking into her room she would proudly show off the pictures and art work of her loved ones. They just don't come better than Wynell. . I loved Wynell and She holds a very special place in my heart.
