Melody Lynn Purdy 56 of Guy passed from this life on July 1, 2016.
Melody was born on September 20, 1959 in Southgate, California. She was a caring and wonderful person. Her family will miss her humor and laugh.
She is preceded in death by her parents David and Betty Brown; one brother, David Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Purdy, one son, Todd Purdy (Sherry); one daughter, Alicia Taylor (Michael);
eight grandchildren, Kyleeann Karaginides (Jacob), Christian Purdy, Anthony Taylor, Emilie Purdy, Noah Taylor, Katie Taylor, Brandon Dowdy, and Chase Dowdy;
one great grandchild, Aurora Lynn Karaginides; two sisters, Kathy Stewart, Wendy Williams; two brothers, Danny and Dean Brown.
A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Melody, there is little I can say or do to ease your pain and suffering. The grief caused by her death is indescribable. We can all look forward to the time when our loved ones will be resurrected to life on a paradise earth free from pain, suffering and death. (John 5/28, Revelation 21:3 & 4) This is a comforting hope to help sustain you during this difficult time. May the fond memories of Melody comfort you and may God grant you the ability to endure.
