Velma Marie McKinney, age 87 of Marshall, Arkansas, formerly of Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, June 23rd, 2016 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. She was born in Cove, Arkansas on July 9th, 1928 to Victor Sanders and Gracie (Provence) Sanders.

Marie was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In her early years she enjoyed boating, water skiing and any lakeside activity. She liked to travel with her husband, Bill. Marie was also a collector of music boxes. She was a wonderful homemaker whose presence will be missed by those closest to her.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill McKinney; son, Jerry Cagle; brother, Billy Sanders; sister, Betty Reed; and one great-grandchild, Navea Grace Cagle.

Survivors include her son, Larry Cagle and wife Melody of Witts Springs; two daughters, Anita Rodden and husband Glenn of Sapulpa, OK and Debbie Arnold and husband, Stephen of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Paula, Phillip, Pamala, Nicholas, Johnny, Jeremy, Jason, Brian, Jenny, Abram, Millie and Allison; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, twin brother, Gaylord "Bud", sisters, Audry, Lawana, Evelyn and Elizabeth; and many other nieces, nephews and other family members and friends who will mourn her passing.

Cremation services are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas. All services will be private and held at a later date.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time for you. I daily regret losing contact with my family. Family is so important. Please use my email and keep in touch with me. I remember Velma was a sweet lady. I will miss her even though we had not spoken for some time. She is at peace now.
