Mable L. Thompson, 84, of Conway went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 12, 2016. She was born Sunday, July 5, 1931 in Greenbrier, Arkansas to George F. and Nora Bell Harlan Hill. She was a loving wife, mother and sister, who enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flowerbeds. She loved children and retired from Geyer Springs First Baptist Church Day School, where she spent many years providing loving care to countless children. Along with her husband she was also a Sunday school teacher. She most recently attended Second Baptist Church in Conway.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Neal L. Thompson Sr., son Landy Thompson Jr., siblings Christine Baker, Claudine McGowan, Buel Hill and Linda Rea.

Survivors include siblings Calvin Hill (Jean) of Benton, Georgetta King (Bill) of Conway, Emma Lester of Conway, Wanda Green of Bald Knob and Earline Chumley of Quitman. Other survivors include special nieces Diane Atkins and Olivia Hill along with several other nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Cross Roads South Cemetery in Heber Springs.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.

The family expresses special appreciation of Conway Regional Hospital 3 North staff and Heritage Rehabilitation staff. A special thanks to Todd Milam for the love and support given to her through the years as her deacon at Second Baptist Church.

Mr. Calvin Hill sad to here about Mrs.Mable passing.She was a sweet lady. We met you in the hospital when we came to see Landy. Know there all back together in heaven.
