September 4, 1942 - June 4, 2016

Martha Jean McGinty, 71 of North Little Rock, passes away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at her home. She was born September 4, 1942 in Zenith, Missouri to the late Albert Childers and Louise Gray Childers Traffanstedt Childers. Her greatest pleasure in life was taking care of her family.

Martha was also preceded in death by her daughter, Veronica Grage, her brother, James Childers and her sister, Jimmye Redmond.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dalton McGinty of North Little Rock; one son, Doyle McGinty of North Little Rock; one daughter, Karla Pierce and husband Brian of Gunter, Texas; her brother, Albert Childers of Cabot; ten grandchildren: Justin, Sara, Jerald and Amy McGinty, Michael and Trent II Grage, Blake, Blaine, Ashlynn Pierce, Samantha Franks; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Brother Dickie Harris officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at McGinty Cemetery in McGintytown, AR.

Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

i will always remember aunt Martha as a loving woman that always loved us kids no mater how many where at her house she knew us all and was always supportive and loving I will always remember the big parties at her house swimming and the food and the love of family and friends that surrounded her she will be missed and always loved

I'll always remember Aunt Martha as a sweet comfort with a big loving smile of acceptance. Her eyes embraced people; when she looked at someone or talked to them, it was with attention and care, never looking through them thinking of something else. She met you where you are, even if it were just in a glance. She's in my heart with love. I'm praying for each of you to be comforted in the same embrace that she always offered.
