Janice, I am so sorry to learn of the death of your mom. I remember her so well. She was always so friendly to me when I would see her anywhere. You are in my thoughts.
Oh my, the memories I have with Ms. Ruby,
She took care of both my nieces, and my son, at S&H and Ding Dong Campus. (Vicki Lynn, Rebekah, Lance).
And, she took care of my son at her home.
They adored her-as did I.
Every year I still put the crochet ornaments, she made and gave me, on my Christmas tree.
Thank you, Ms. Ruby (Ms. "Booby"-toddler name for her); you shall for always have a special place in our hearts.
Ms. Esther
Jay and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I was an H&S child and loved your mother! She has always been the sweetest and kindest lady! She will be greatly missed by all.
Rachell,
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Wonderful memories of Ms. Ruby and Opie at Antioch Baptist Church on South Blvd.-----Precious people. Our love to the Hefners.
Jay,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your mother. I remember her as a sweet and caring woman who always offered "us boys" something good to eat at her house. She will be remembered for her kindness. Now she is with Opie again and that should comfort your hearts. God Bless you all, you will be in my prayers.
Such a sweet and precious lady. So blessed to have known her.
Dear Jay and Janice,
I have such precious memories of your mom at Antioch! She and Inez Sims helped me learn so many Bible passages and loved all of us during those early years in Sunday School and GA's. Your mom is a little part of who I am today and for that I will be forever grateful. I know she lived a long life but I also know there is never a good time to lose your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Teresa
