Chris, Lesley, and Family
Here I sit in my home near Oklahoma City and have just learned of this near friend and relative’s passing. I have been calling her home for several days and getting no response. So I ask another friend to see what she could find out about her, and she has just passed on the very sad news to me. Had I learned sooner I would have tried to attend her service. I cannot express my joy of getting to know this Lady. She and I shared so many of the same interest especially genealogy and the love of plants and flowers. She has helped me so much with my research. I am planning my yearly trip to the area next week and was trying to touch bases with her about coming and visiting her. She and I were related through the Smith line. My visit to the area will have such a big hole in it. I loved her and will truly miss our visits. Lora Kates McDaniel

Loved visiting with Mary Frances, although was not able to do so for several years now. Have good memories of conversations, her knowledge, and sense of humor. Thoughts are with her family and loved ones.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:28,29
(28). "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".

I will miss Mary Frances! She was strong, smart, had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved her family! She was my late mother's (Lillian Smith) first cousin. I visited her 3 years ago on her farm and we had a wonderful visit, including her taking me on a tour of the Sulphur Springs Cemetery where my grandparents (Coy and Helen (Holsted) Smith) are buried. I have talked to her on the phone over the past few months, and she assured me that she had accepted Christ as a young girl (at the Leslie Baptist Church.) As recently as a few weeks ago, she signed off with "thanks for remembering me; I'll see you in Heaven!" Rosemary Spencer
