So sorry for the loss of a friend to all, an encourager, a bright and beautiful smile and heart of gold. Deepest sympathy.
Derwin and Ashlee,
We wanted to let you know how very sorry we all are on the loss
of Lori. We will miss her and her sweet smile. Praying for you and
your family during this difficult time.
Always a kind word, always a smile, always caring - that was Lori. I worked with Lori at the School for the Deaf. She gave 100% to everything she did. She was an excellent role model for her students. We all will miss her, and the days will not be as bright without Lori.
Sending this with a saddened heart and loving memory of a precious young lady that lifted your spirits just by smiling at you. Much love to her family
Derwin & family,
So very very sad for the loss of your loving wife Lori! Words cannot express the sympathy we have in our hearts for you and your family. Although we did not know her for long we knew of her devotion to her career and to The Church. It is true that words are at a loss in times like these but just this week we read a quote by Martin Luther, a German professor of theology. It read "I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all; but whatever I have placed in God's hands, that I still possess." Memories of those who precede us are treasures we can live by and with till we meet again!
In Christian Love,
Steve & Mary Collie
Oh Nancy and Deon: our hearts go out to you on the passing of your beautiful sweet daughter Lori. I bumped into her a few months ago at TJMaxx and she recognized me immediately and asked about our daughter Erin. What a memory that kid had!! she could never have asked for better parents and you were blessed with her for a short 40 years. We will remember you and Lori in our prayers. Remember the good times.
Lori, you were such a big part of my childhood, and I will remember you always. I will see you again in heaven. Condolences and prayers for the family.
Lori and I started Gallaudet together in the summer of 1998. We instantly connected being from Arkansas and entering a whole new culture at Gally. I'll miss her smile and her laughter the most. She was a positive lady who loved to give hugs. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
I will always remember your gracious smile! I know you're having fun now and I'll see you one day there!
Lori was a sweet person. She was a special friend of my daughter Audrey Huff. I saw her frequently at church and she always had a beautiful smile. We will miss her. Praying for her husband and daughter Ashley.
So stunned and saddened by the passing of Lori. She was always
smiling and happy and very sweet....I will miss seeing her.
I pray that the Lord comforts her family and grants you
all peace, as only He can.
Lori and I met many years ago at a little church in the Landmark area called Archview. She and I became friends quickly because we had a common bond that was near to my heart. My Mom like Lori was hard of hearing, yet never let that stop her from doing anything. Both of them had made the choice to go to public schools rather then a school for the death because they wanted to go where their friends and family went up unti I met Lori I thought my Mom was the only person who had enough courage to choose this much more trying path. Lori like my Mom was not one to let something like her hearing slow her down one bit, as challenging as it must have been for her at times, you would have never known it from the outside looking in. I was deeply saddened to hear we lost one of our angels here are earth, but it brings me peace to know that heaven gained one. My thoughts and prayers go out to her friends and family I hope you can find peace in knowing she is in a much better place but I know as I will you too will miss her dearly.
RIL Lori Lovin-Self until we meet again my friend!
Lori worked with my son, Joseph.
She was wonderful with him and that's not always easy with Joeph.
