Oma Yvonne Cox, age 79, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home.

Mrs. Cox was born August 14, 1936 in Harrison, Arkansas to the late William A. and Ruby Mae (Daniels) Paul. She was a homemaker. Oma was a graduate of Valley Springs High School. She married Wade Cox in Harrison, Arkansas on December 26, 1959. She was a Jehovah's Witness. She was the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, and sister of all time. Married 43 years, she devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by two sons: Casey Cox of Alton, Missouri; and Tony Cox of Bruno, Arkansas; one daughter, Carol Ann Weaver of Flippin, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Kimberly Butler and Kelsey Goodon; two great-grandchildren: Ivy and Sky; two sisters: Anna Mae Armstrong of Ozark, Missouri; and Larue Heard of Harrison, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wade Cox; and five brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.

Yvonne will be missed greatly. She was a very kind and caring women. I only knew her for a short bit but was loved even in that time.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at John 5:28,29
(28). "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (29) and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment".
