Shirley Karen Hoover, 74, of Damascus, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 13, 2016. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Jordan, Arkansas to the late Daniel Lee Lawson and the late Nellie Nora Graham Lawson.
Mrs. Hoover was a homemaker who loved to be outside taking in nature. She was a Christian who loved the Lord, but her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother and sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H. Dee Hoover; sister, Gladys Lawson; and brothers, Donald Lawson and an infant brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Daniel Hoover (Jennifer) of Greenbrier, Arkansas and Lenny Hoover (Dawn) of Beebe, Arkansas; daughters, Deanna Hernandez (Victor) and Karen Richardson of Damascus, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kelley Baker, Rebecca Solis, Cody Hoover, Hannah Richardson and Macie Hoover; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Sowells of Scotland, Arkansas, Ann Smith of Conway, Arkansas and Linda of Alabama; brothers, Howard Lawson of Crittenden County, Arkansas, Jerry Lawson of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, David Lawson of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas and Joe Lawson of Austin, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2016 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Greenbrier (501)679-2575. Interment will follow in Pine Mountain Cemetery in Bee Branch. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel.

I'm sorry for the family's loss, she will be so missed, she was a wonderful woman, and grandmother.
Aunt Shirley, a beautiful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grand mother and Faithful Daughter of God. She touched so many people's hearts and lives, she will be missed here, but now she is home with our Heavenly Father. I pray for the family in their time of grief.
