Ada Mae Cole Jumper, 91, of Cordova, TN, formerly of Bono, AR, passed away May 10, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Ada Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Jumper; parents, Lloyd and Nettie Cole; birth mother, Callie Cole; and sister, Verneal Hots Horne.

She is survived by her son, David (Charlene) Jumper; grandson, Chris (Snow) Jumper, all of Cordova; brothers, Jimmy Cole and Darrel Cole; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jumper was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Cordova. She taught school at Fontaine and Light, AR for many years before moving to Cordova.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 am, May 13, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Ave., in Jonesboro, AR with Dr. Richard Hipps officiating. Interment will follow at Lorado Cemetery, Lorado, AR.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until time of service.

Jeff Cole, Rod Boydston, Bob Routh, Marvin Jumper, Randy Jumper, Rodney Jumper and Bob Childress will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests lasting memorials in her memory be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, TN or a charity of the donors choice.

Mrs Jumper was my favorite teacher. She taught 2nd grade at Light. She was very pretty, always neatly dressed and her soft voice made a big impression on me. May God Bless and Comfort your family and I thank Him for sharing this beautiful lady with me. I will always remember her.
