Sonya Christy Johnston, 53, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born August 17, 1962, the daughter of Jim and Ann Johnston. Chrissy was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Johnston.
Chrissy is survived by her father, Jim Johnston, step-mother, Ruth Johnston, sisters, Debi Ethridge and Cheryl Linn; brothers, Cliff Johnston (Sharmon) and Craig Johnston (Shawn), step-brothers, Sammy and Rodney Patton and step-sister Christi Barnard, several nephews, nieces, and extended family at 5 Cedar, and all of CHDC.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Stewart and the nurses on the 2nd floor at Conway Regional Hospital for their efforts and care.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday April 25th at Holland Baptist Church, with Pastors John Evans, Jr. and Gaylon King officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Ethridge, Jase Johnston, Kyle DeShazo, Clay Johnston, Jason Hammerlinck, Nick Wallace, and Ryan Lessig.
