Carolyn Doremus Knipher Bagley, 92, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born on April 7, 1924 in Montclair, NJ. She is the daughter of the late, Frederick Karl Knipher and Cornelia Morrison Doremus Knipher. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon Bagley and one brother, Frederick ''Fred'' Knipher.
Carolyn is a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Bedford. She served our country in the United States Navy during WWII. She loved the outdoors, gardening, flowers, quilting, and spending time doing needlework. She was a member of ''DOK'' Daughters of the King. She dearly loved her pets especially her dogs.
Carolyn is survived by her two children, Carolyn ''Beth'' Elizabeth Bagley and Mark Leon Bagley and his wife, Myra Lynne; niece, Dayton Knipher; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins on the Bagley side.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church with Father Wilson F. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the service for a visitation and fellowship. Burial will be at a later date with her husband in Arkansas.
