SFC Ret. Max E. Boon , 76 of Conway, went to be with his Lord on April , 16 2016. He was born in McCook, NE.
He retired from the US Army after serving his country for 20 years. He did two tours in Vietnam receiving a Army Commendation Medal with V Device and a Bronze Star Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster.
He is preceded by his parents Job and Ruth Boon; Two sisters, Patsy Boon, and Joyce Boon; three brothers, Dennis, Milan, and Earl Boon.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nalda Boon who he met on a blind date; two daughters, Shelly Boon and Sheryl James (George); two grandchildren Katie and Zachary James; two sisters, Linda Bestul (Ronnie) of Surprise, AZ, JoAnn Hoffeldt of Wagoner, SD; two brothers, James Boon (Rose) of Jacksonville, FL. And Joe Boon (Marie) of Shevlin, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews ; his four grand-fur-babies, Maddie, Libby, Kenzie, and Su-Monkey.
Funeral Service will at 10:00 Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Roller McNutt Funeral Homes in Conway.
Interment will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 6-8 Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the funeral home.

Max I know that you are no longer hurting and you are spreading your smile all over Heaven, even then it is hard to say goodbye so I will just say until we meet again Brother, love you. You will be missed by all of us, but most of all your 3 Girls are going to be missing you most.
