Heaven has received a beautiful soul. Mrs. Weeks touched so many lives and will be dearly missed. I will always remember her as the best school counselor. She had a way of making every student feel loved and special. She inspired me to pursue school counseling as a profession. I consider myself lucky to have known her in my lifetime. Her family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of Mrs. Weeks. My heart and prayers go out to Mr. Weeks and all her family and friends. Mrs. Weeks was my 3rd grade teacher (1978-79) at Ida Burns and hands down one of the best teachers ever. I remember her being a loving and caring teacher. I am sure my heart is only one of many, many hearts she touched through the years as a teacher and counselor.

I'm truly sad to hear this news. Wishing her family much peace and comfort. Mrs. Weeks was my favorite teacher of all times in 3rd grade and was just telling my sons about my favorite teacher not too long ago. I remember when I was sick with pneumonia during Christmas time and she had the class write get-well notes and made them into a book for me. I still have it after all these years. Rest in peace, Mrs. Weeks.

I am so sorry to hear about Pat. I was privileged to work with her at Ida Burns for 10 years before I remarried and moved to Phoenix. Pat was a supportive and compassionate mentor, colleague, and friend. She helped me through several difficult times in my life. She was someone I could laugh with and cry with and believe me, we did both! Pat was gorgeous on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside!! My heart goes out to you, Randy, Celestine, Jeff, Joey, Jeremy and Becca. Pat will never me forgotten.

My prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I didn't know Pat well, but she was always so friendly and happy when she came to the office. Jeremy, whom I feel I came to know the best, is a living testament of the love she poured out on her family. I feel so blessed to have been a part of your lives for the brief time I worked with you. Hold on to those many precious memories you have of her and to each other.

Dear family, your beautiful Pat was a childhood and life-long friend to so many of us. She was my DBS big-sis way back when and simply was one of the most kind, gentle, and compassionate people I've ever known. It was my honor to care for Pat as her chaplain at Baptist during her early diagnosis days. We were both so surprised when as grown-ups that is how we met again. It was such an honor and great joy to spend time with Pat each day and care for her. Her labors have ended and she is now at peace. May God's love; Christ's peace; and the Holy Spirit's strong comfort and fellowship abide with all her family during these days and always. Amen.

My sweet cousin, Pat has gone on to meet the Lord she loved so dearly. She was the "jewel" of our Havens family. She is already missed by all of us, her extended family, and I can only pray for the comfort and peace for You, Randy, Jeff, Joey, Jeremy, Becca, Dickie, Ava, Anna, and Aunt Celestine. May the Lord bless you all. Pat clung to the scripture during her struggle that inspires me today----"I will not die but live, and proclaim what the Lord has done" Psalm 118:17 I love you, Pat, Linda

I had Ms Weeks as my 3rd grade teacher at Ida Burns. She was the kindest, sweetest lady. She was an awesome teacher. I remember coming to class on a Monday morning and telling her that I had accepted Christ as my Savior on Sunday. She was so proud of me and told me then that she would be my teacher for only a small while but we would always be sisters in Christ. I am so proud we shared that and I have this sweet memory with her.
