Modell Camp, 92, of Conway passed from this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016. She was born Saturday, November 24, 1923 in Nimrod, Arkansas to Claude B. and Hester L. Johnson Camp. Ms. Camp was of the Baptist Faith and attended Sunny Gap Baptist Church. She was a loving sister and aunt who enjoyed family get togethers and taking her nieces and nephews on long walks. She enjoyed embroidering, flowers, collecting postcards and salt and pepper shakers.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Bobbie Tipton, Artie Jones, Martha Jones, Dorothy Vann, Lorene Carey, Murlene Frizzell, brothers Harley Camp, Arvie Camp, Harlin Ray Camp and half-brother James Kemp along with several brother in laws.

Survivors include brother in law Waldon Tipton of Conway along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Bro. Tommy Camp officiating. Interment will follow at Union Valley Cemetery in Coy at 1:30pm. Visitation will be Friday , April 15, 2016 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Tipton, Jerry Day, Dustin Tipton, Johnny Mahan, Zach Mahan, David Fitzgerald, Jake Fitzgerald, Adrian Alexander and Chad Curran. Her other nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

When Modell lived on lived on Ash Street, she and my mother became good friends. My sister and I will always be grateful to her for her friendship and assistance to my mother. I will always remember her as a very kind lady.
