John C. Norman, 68 of Scranton, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born on April 9, 1947 in Little Rock to his parents Clifford and Walcie (McAnulty) Norman. He worked for Dow Chemicals for 19 years, retired from River Valley Animal Foods in Scranton and was a United States Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Walcie (McAnulty) Norman; his wife, Patsy Ann (Williams) Norman and three sisters, Jane Harris, Nina White and Ann Diehl.

He is survived by one daughter, Betty Cox of Scranton; two sons, John Norman and wife Connie of Scranton and Frank Norman and wife Loretta of Cleveland, Texas; three sisters, Rose Myers of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Faye Nash of Radcliff, Kentucky and Lenela Jones of Paris; one brother, Clifford Norman of Tulsa, Oklahoma and one granddaughter, Emily Tobey and husband Kalen of Fort Smith.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Ricky White. Burial will follow in Stoney Point Cemetery in Scranton under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Doug Jones, Clint Jones, David Claire, Kalen Tobey, Mark Guthrie and Terry Beck.

Honorary pallbearer will be Ray Myers.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I graduated high school with him at Scranton. He was always a very nice guy.. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time
