Eddie LaMont Donaho

May 26, 1948 - March 21, 2016

Eddie Lamont Donaho joined our Lord Jesus on March 21, 2016. Eddie was 67 years old. Eddie loved his church friends and family as well as he loved his own family. He served in the U.S. Air Force and in the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam War Veteran in the Air Force. He was awarded the Army U.S. Meritorious Service Medal with bronze oak leaf clusters as well as many other awards. Eddie served in Law Enforcement for forty years. After retiring, he worked in security for the Ward Bus Company, and later as a teacher's aide with special education students. He considered it an honor to work in the Sunday school office of Friendship Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; brother, Michael Donaho; sister, Rachael Donaho; sons and their wives; Nathan and Leslie, Travis and Malanya, and Lawrence and Alexis. He has seven grandchildren; Aaron, Hayden, Delilah, Gideon, Brandon, Ryan, and Porsha. Pallbearers are Nathan Donaho, Travis Donaho, Lawrence Donaho, Carl Slover, Todd Beene, Clifford Towles, Jim Dick, David Short, Donny Wells, and Jim Richardson.

Services are to be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Friday, March 25, 2016 with viewing at 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 2:00p.m. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers it is requested that a donation be made to the Friendship Baptist building fund at Friendship Baptist Church at 767 Rocky Point Road, Conway Arkansas, 72032.
