Ella Barker, 92, a resident of Paris passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, in Fort Smith.

She was born December 25, 1923, in Paris to the late Fannon and Sarah (Bates) Thomas. Ella worked as a farmer during her working years , where she loved her sheep and chickens, and attended the Church of God in Gray Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roosevelt Barker; a brother, J.C. Thomas; a sister, Ruby Moon and a nephew, Johnny Martin.

Survivors include a sister, Elvia Green of Paris and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. M.D. Wise officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date in the United States National Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Eubanks, Robert Thomas, Dauviante Wise, Da'Kovan Wise, Adrein Wise and Kevin Swafford.
